Welcome to the School Perks Great Christmas Treasure Hunt

Join the fun and see if you can find all the treasures! Here’s a quick guide to what you need to know.

It’s completely free! No purchase is necessary. Just register, play, and collect points.

Who Can Play?
The Treasure Hunt is open to Australian residents physically in Victoria between 1 December and 26 December 2025.

Major Prize Draw

The Major Prize is $10,000 cash! To qualify, you need to earn at least 2,500 points by scanning QR codes, completing challenges, and interacting with Treasure Hunt sponsors. Extra points won’t increase your chances—each eligible participant gets one entry.

How to Participate
Look for School Perks Treasure Hunt QR codes. Scan any code with your phone or tablet, enter your email, and access the web app with your map. Each QR code unlocks a task and points. Completing a task reveals a new clue. You can collect points in one day or over several days.

Clues and Order
You don’t have to follow clues in order. Start at any QR code location and play at your own pace.

How the Major Prize Draw Works
Once you reach 2,500 points, you’re automatically entered. Entries open at 12:00 AM on 1 December 2025 and close at 11:59 PM on 26 December 2025. The draw will be live-streamed on our Facebook page at 1:00 PM AEST on 31 December 2025. Winners are selected randomly using Wheel of Names. The winner receives $10,000 cash + 500,000 Pay.com.au points and will be notified by email and phone within 24 hours.

If the Winner Doesn’t Respond

If we don’t hear back in 10 days, a redraw will occur.

Technical Issues
If the Treasure Hunt crashes or something breaks, School Perks and our Hunt tech partner Deckle will manage disruptions. This may include pausing the game, extending deadlines, or providing other solutions.

Privacy of Your Information
All personal and gameplay data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and Australian privacy laws.

Agreement Terms
By registering, you agree to play fair, keep your login secure, and not copy or misuse content.

Disputes
Disputes will go through a resolution process, including mediation, and any legal matters are governed under Victorian law.

Updating the Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We’ll try to notify you, but it’s a good idea to check back periodically.

1. About the Website

  1. Welcome to School Perks (Website). The Website is the home of theGreat Australian Treasure Hunt and is required to participate.
  2. The Website is operated by School Perks (ACN 35 674 849 042) (ABN ). Access to and use ofthe Website, or any of its associated Products or Services, is provided by School Perks.Please read these terms and conditions (Terms) carefully. By using, browsingand/or reading the Website, this signifies that you have read, understood and agree to bebound by the Terms. If you do not agree with the Terms, you must cease usage of the Websiteimmediately and are not eligible for the Major Prize Draw.
  3. School Perks reserves the right to review and change any of the Terms by updating thispage at its sole discretion. When School Perks updates the Terms, it will use reasonableendeavours to provide you with notice of updates to the Terms. Any changes to the Terms takeimmediate effect from the date of their publication. Before you continue, we recommend you keepa copy of the Terms for your records.
  4. The Participant agrees that the Website may, in its sole discretion and without prior notice,modify, discontinue, or restrict access to any portion of the Website, including any features,database, or content. The Website shall not be liable to the Participant or to any third partyfor any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Website.

2. Definitions

  1. Promotion means the Great Christmas Treasure Hunt promotional campaignconducted by School Perks Pty Ltd, including all associated activities, competitions,and prize draws.
  2. Event means the Great Christmas Treasure Hunt activity conducted from1 December 2025 to 26 December 2025, during which participants scan QR codes, completechallenges, and accumulate points.
  3. Participant (also referred to as “you” or “your” throughout these Terms)means any person who has registered an account through the Website and is participatingin the Event in accordance with these Terms.
  4. Website means the School Perks online platform accessible via web browseror mobile device, through which participants register for and engage with the Event.
  5. School Perks means School Perks Pty Ltd (ABN 35 674 849 042), the promoterand operator of the Great Christmas Treasure Hunt.
  6. Sponsor means any business or organisation that has partnered withSchool Perks to provide QR code locations, challenges, or promotional content.
  7. Deckle means the third-party technology platform provider managing the webapplication and gameplay mechanics.
  8. Major Prize Draw means the random draw conducted at 1:00 PM AEST,31 December 2025.
  9. Prize means $10,000 AUD cash plus 500,000 Pay.com.au points.
  10. Event Period means 12:00 AM AEST on 1 December 2025 to 11:59 PM AESTon 26 December 2025.


3. Acceptance of the Terms
You accept these Terms by remaining on the Website. You may also accept the Terms by clicking
to accept or agree where this option is made available by School Perks.

4. Registration to Participate
To participate in the Event, you must register for an account through the Website.

Required information:

  1. Name
  2. Email address
  3. Preferred username
  4. Telephone number

You may not use the Website or accept the Terms if you are not of legal age to form a binding
contract.

5. How to Play

  1. Find a QR Code: Look for QR codes at participating locations.
  2. Scan the Code: Use your mobile device to scan the QR code.
  3. Access Your Map: After registering, view your treasure map.
  4. Complete Tasks: Each QR code unlocks tasks to complete.
  5. Unlock New Clues: Completing tasks reveals new clues.
  6. Continue Playing: You may continue at any time during the Event Period.
  7. Qualify for the Major Prize Draw: Earn at least 2,500 points.


6. Your Obligations as a Participant

  1. You will use the Services only for purposes permitted by the Terms and applicable laws.
  2. You are responsible for protecting the confidentiality of your password.
  3. You must not use the Website for commercial or unauthorised purposes.
  4. You must not collect email addresses or attempt automated access.
  5. You acknowledge that automated use of the Website is prohibited.


7. QR Code Location Access and Continued Participation
Some locations may have restricted operating hours. Your progress is saved automatically.

8. Eligibility for Major Prize Draw

  1. Participants must earn a minimum of 2,500 points to qualify.
  2. Entries open 12am December 1, 2025 and close 11:59pm December 26, 2025.
  3. All eligible entries have an equal chance of winning.


9. Prize Draw Process

9.1 How the Draw Works

  1. The draw will take place at 1:00 PM AEST on 31 December 2025.
  2. It will be livestreamed via Facebook.
  3. Winner selected using the Wheel of Names.


9.2 Prize Details

  • $10,000 AUD cash
  • 500,000 Pay.com.au points


9.3 Claiming the Prize

  1. Winner must respond within 10 days.
  2. If not, a redraw is conducted.


9.4 Public Acknowledgement
Winner’s name and suburb will be published.

10. Copyright and Intellectual Property
All Website content is protected by copyright and owned by School Perks or licensors.

11. Copyright, User Content and Use of Materials

  1. Ownership & Licence: Personal use only.
  2. Participant Content: May be used for event administration.
  3. Use of Information: Used per Privacy Policy.
  4. Consent: Required for minors.
  5. Removal Requests: Can be made via email.


12. Third-Party Platform Disclosure
Deckle provides technical services but is not the promoter.

13. Event Disruptions
School Perks may pause, extend, or modify the event in case of technical issues.

14. Privacy
Information is collected and used in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

15. General Disclaimer
Use of the Website is at your own risk. All services are provided “as is”.

16. Limitation of Liability
School Perks is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

17. Competitors
Competitors are prohibited from using the Website content.

18. Termination of Contract

  1. You may stop participating at any time.
  2. School Perks may suspend or terminate access if Terms are breached.
  3. Terms end automatically on 26 December 2025 unless extended.

19. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify School Perks for any loss resulting from your breach of the Terms.

20. Dispute Resolution

  1. Compulsory: Disputes must be handled through the below steps.
  2. Notice: Written notice required.
  3. Resolution: Must attempt to resolve within 28 days.
  4. Mediation: Mediator appointed after 28 days if unresolved.
  5. Confidential: All communications are confidential.
  6. Termination: Mediation ends after 2 months if unresolved.


21. Venue and Jurisdiction
Governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Victorian law.

23. Severance
If any part is unenforceable, the remaining Terms stay in effect.
